We clean the glass, frames, cladding and signage on commercial buildings in Leeds and across Yorkshire. External windows are washed from the ground with pure-water reach-and-wash poles, internal glass is cleaned by hand, and every site has a written frequency for each elevation.
Pure-water cleaning uses filtered water fed through a brush on a telescopic pole. The operative stays on the ground, scrubs the glass and frames, and rinses them. Because the water has had its minerals removed, it dries without spotting and no detergent is left on the glass. Frames and sills are washed at the same time, which keeps dirt from running back down the pane after the next shower of rain.
Not every window can be reached with a pole. Glass above a canopy, behind a parapet or over a lightwell may need a different method. We do not guess at this from photographs. High-level access is assessed at the site visit, where we look at each elevation, the ground conditions below it and any obstructions. The written schedule then states plainly which windows are included and how each one will be reached.
Internal glass is a separate task with its own frequency. It covers the inside faces of windows, glazed partitions, entrance doors and atrium balustrades, cleaned by hand so that desks and floors stay dry. We also wash cladding panels and fascia signage, which hold traffic film and algae and soon make a clean building look neglected. These washes are usually booked once or twice a year alongside a normal window visit.

We go round every elevation, count the panes, check water and vehicle access and look at what sits beneath each window. Any glass that a pole cannot reach is noted for separate assessment.
The schedule lists each elevation, the method used and how often it is cleaned. Internal glass, cladding and signage appear as separate lines so you can include or leave out each one.
We agree visit days, parking for the van, which areas need cordoning and who signs the operative in. Tenants or staff can be given notice of the first visit if you want that.
After each visit you get a record of what was cleaned and anything that could not be reached, with the reason. The cycle is reviewed at agreed intervals and adjusted if an elevation soils faster.
